Risk Management

Our Risk Management Systems Help Us Better Prepare for Disasters and Other Contingencies.

Under the leadership of the Risk Management Committee, we are taking preventive measures against various risks concerning environmental problems and natural disasters including large earthquakes, as well as product quality and financial affairs. In addition, we are committed to information security, especially concerning personal information.

Our Risk Management Systems and Activities of the Risk Management Committee

In fiscal 2008 we established the Risk Management Committee, chaired by the President, with the aims of building a solid risk management system and improving contingency preparedness. From among many risks involved in our business, we have selected those items that entail specific preventive measures (see table on right). Against each selected risk, we have selected measures to take, including [1] preparing codes/guidelines, [2] publishing rules and providing educational programs, and [3] conducting studies of physical risk control. We also have a system to collect and share information of past accidents and events across the Group so as to prevent their recurrence.

Information Security Policy

At Mizuno, where information security initiatives are regarded as essential for corporate management, we have prepared the Information Security Policy and its operation guidelines. We are especially committed to protecting personal information from leakage from within the Group.
