MIZUNO SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE

In order to realize a sustainable society, Mizuno will further accelerate its sustainability activities globally from 2021, aiming to grow its business through solving social issues.

With the aim of further evolving our business model that integrates social contribution and business, we will strengthen our efforts and position "Environmental conservation", "Physical and mental health through sports" and "Respect for humanity" as strategic areas of our sustainability activities from 2021.
 

MIZUNO CREW21

In 1991, at a time when global environmental issues were first attracting attention, Mizuno launched “Crew21 Project”, an industry-leading environmental conservation initiative of its own. This project was named with the idea of "Playing the role of a crew member of the spaceship "Earth" and carrying out activities to conserve resources and the environment”. 

From year 2021, the project will include not only environmental conservation activities, but also social and economic areas, and will be promoted as a wider sustainability project. In addition, the name of the project has been changed to "MIZUNO CREW21" and the logo has been renewed.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL HEALTH THROUGH SPORTS

Mizuno aims to create an environment where as many people as possible can have access to sports. In particular, we will strengthen our efforts to improve the athletic ability and physical strength of children, extend healthy life spans through sports, and support the promotion of local sports as key issues.

Mizuno aims to build a society in which all people involved in our business can shine with vitality by respecting diversity and sharing values in the spirit of friendship and fair play.
