By altering the eyelet shape to give it a figure-eight shaped notch, it achieves a fit that conforms to the foot even when bent.

Soft heel construction.
After reviewing the heel pattern from scratch, a soft material is utilized for the upper part of the heel area. The fit is improved and the foot can be slid in more smoothly.
